Badoque Cafe: Big dreams begin from small places.

Sinpang Bedok is known for its variety of stalls that serve yummy Halal food and is a great place to chill out with friends and family at affordable prices.

Nestled behind the Shop and Save, is a hidden little gem that many may not know about, but is definitely a must try when you're around the area.

Choose to dine indoor or al fresco and try to make reservations before coming as it can be very crowded especially during weekday dinners and weekends.

 

 

For our 10 year graduation reunion, my ex-classmates and I chose Badoque Café to dine and catch up on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Since I arrived first, I browsed through the menu, soaked in the atmosphere and ordered an Iced Latte ($7.50).

For most of us who were there for the first time, we were quickly impressed by the vibes of the place and were even more wow-ed by the food when it arrived! Meal portions were huge and taste was not compromised despite the crowds filling up the café quickly. The café offers a cosy ambience and staff are friendly and accommodative. I wish they served water though as my friends and I ate, chilled and spent time catching up! Oh yes, all prices are nett.

 Verdict: Quaint lil café with good quality food and chill out vibes. Come especially when famished/ having cravings/ feeling happy. Rather pricey but worth it as meals are also good for 2. Or 1 if you're really famished.
